Ella, Sri Lanka

One of the places you must visit by train is Ella, which is a small town located in the mountainous region of Sri Lanka. Hop on a train from Haputale to Ella for the most spectacular train ride you’ve ever experienced.

You will be amazed at how the line pulls off a perfect curve around a hillside with tunnels under it. The train will take you through Kandy city which is famous for its sacred Buddhist site with such popular Buddhist attractions as the Temple of the Tooth shrine.

Arosa, Switzerland
